Murrieta, California is located in Riverside County, just about 60 miles away from the hustle of downtown San Diego. It was founded back in the late 1800’s and has since grown into a thriving community with over 114,000 people callin’ it home.
Before Murrieta was a large city, the area was inhabited by the Temecula Native American tribe and The land was eventually surveyed and divided into plots that were sold to farmers and ranchers. One of these plots was bought by a man named John Murrieta, eventually, the city was named after him.
